SCHOTT TopYield™ Vials

Manufactured by SCHOTT forma vitrum from Fiolax® neutral Type I glass tubing, these vials are internally coated with a special hydrophobic layer.

SCHOTT's pioneering new TopYield™ coating technology for vials has been created to ensure maximum aspiration of a high value drug product through the addition of the internally chemically bonded hydrophobic vial coating, meaning that none of the drug product is left on the surface of the vial after aspiration with a needle.

The TopYield™ ultra-thin hydrophobic layer is between 40 - 100nm thick and is completely transparent and inert.

Vials that feature these hydrophobic coatings have such homogeneous surfaces that liquid substances find it difficult to adhere to the inside walls, which means you do not need to over fill the vial in order to ensure the patient receives the required dose.

TopYield™ vials are available in capacities 2ml, 6ml and 10ml.

SCHOTT TopPac® Vials

Vials made from Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) have excellent barrier properties and transparency qualities which are comparable to those of glass.
